We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our procurement team. The Junior Buyer will be responsible for assisting in sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory levels of goods and services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to meet organizational needs. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a career in supply chain management or procurement within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchase Order Processing: Create, track, and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and supplier agreements. Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve issues related to delayed shipments or discrepancies.
Vendor Communication & Support: Interact with suppliers to obtain quotes, product information, and confirm order details. Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Inventory & Stock Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage stock replenishment.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP systems with relevant purchase information. Generate reports on purchasing activities, price trends, and supplier performance.
Cost & Quality Monitoring: Support cost-reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing and negotiating competitive prices. Monitor the quality and compliance of goods received and escalate non-conformance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1–2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative purchasing support preferred.
Knowledge of purchasing practices, inventory control, and basic contract terms.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and follow-through.
Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
Customer service mindset with a proactive attitude.
Basic negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
