Production Coordinator

Job description

The Production Coordinator is responsible for prioritizing production schedules & costs and will be an integral part in ensuring that the manufacturing office operations run smoothly; also, will perform business administrative duties.


Responsibilities:

  • Keeping production schedule up to date, adding new work orders, removing completed items when paperwork comes through from various departments.

  • Provide updates BOM/costing for quotes for upper management.

  • Put together inventory kits, and issue parts from stock room for manufacturing and internal work orders.

  • Maintain ABSA serial number tracking spreadsheet to transfer ownership.

  • Maintains service work order, including inventory and timelines, customer information, deliver to CSR/OSR and Warehouse Supervisor

  • Maintain system to manage paperwork, files, job packets, etc.

  • Make recommendations for system improvements as identified.

  • Keeping accurate records, including the completion of all required forms.

  • Match BOM with inventory to ensure we have parts required

  • Work with Purchasing to ensure all materials are available for the manufacture of work order as required.


Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience

  • Planning experience

  • Manufacturing experience and asset

  • Strong computer skills

  • Experience with Sage or other ERP systems

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
