Job description

The Rental and Service Coordinator will help to oversee the daily functions of the Service, Rental and Used Equipment needs by coordinating and managing all functions related to the tracking, dispatching and invoicing of service technicians for both customer and Allredi based service jobs, as well as spearheading the timely dispatch of the rental fleet by completing daily tracking and documentation.  This position will also track and communicate the used equipment inventory at Allredi by ensuring optimum communication with the sales team and providing data accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

·        Dispatch service technicians for field service jobs and internal service requests for equipment

·        Generate service proposals and repair quotes for customers, while communicating service needs to clients

·        Track all service jobs and bill accordingly upon their completion

·        Fulfill all rental quote requests in a timely manner by ensuring all inbound and outbound documentation is obtained and verified

·        Take pictures of each piece of rental equipment upon delivery and receipt

·        Track rental inventory, perform monthly rental inventory audits and provide monthly corrections and reports to management

·        Generate repair quotes for damaged equipment and work with clients to help navigate repair needs and expectations

·        Communicate availability of used equipment to the sales team, create part numbers and generate sales orders as needed

·        Determine depreciation for used equipment

·        Organize data in weekly, monthly and yearly batches to provide clear and concise data for management

·       Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

·       Completion of High School Degree or equivalent is required, with preference given to individuals who have college degree (2 year or 4 year) in Business, Logistics, or Operations Management

·       Must have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision

·       Must possess excellent customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers

·       Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

·       Good time management, organization and follow through skills

·       Accounting background or knowledge to facilitate billing expected

WORK HOURS

Regular Monday-Friday first shift 8 AM-5PM

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIREMENTS

Considerable walking, climbing of stairs and extended reaching may be required.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
