Job description

Allredi is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead customer acquisition efforts for our rapidly growing Safety Division in Eastern Canada. This role is a strategic investment to capitalize on our expanding market share in the Canadian safety market.

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, the ideal candidate is a competitive, tireless road warrior who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving growth with commercial/industrial construction contractors and industrial manufacturers. This is a new role with a base salary starting at $100,000 CAD, plus performance-based incentives

Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively pursue new business opportunities in the safety products segment.

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share across Eastern Canada.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.

  • Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with internal customer service, operations, logistics and supply chain teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics, utilizing market analysis to identify industry and customer targets.

  • Leverage industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to present Allredi's value proposition and secure new business.

Job requirements

  • Proven track record of prospecting, closing sales, and bringing on new long-term customers in the industrial or construction-related fields. Ability to outline and execute on a sales plan that meets or exceeds aggressive sales goals.

  • Commitment to driving top line revenue while supporting efforts to effectively manage bottom line.

  • Strong familiarity with safety products including technical knowledge of key lines; ability to cross-sell, upsell and displace incumbent suppliers. Strong understanding of Eastern Canadian markets and customer dynamics.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop strong relationships with decision makers and negotiate win-win solutions with suppliers and customers.

  • Willingness to travel extensively; must love being in front of customers while prioritizing the biggest opportunities.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and relentless in pursuit of success.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Work Hours:

Hours are a typical office Monday-Friday schedule with night or weekend hours required as necessary for business demands.
